APPOINTMENTS FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
The Appointments function was launched in MySejahtera application starting 6 September 2022. This function allows MySejahtera users to book
appointments for health services in Ministry of Health Malaysia health facilities.
Services that can be booked through this function are as follows :
I) Outpatient Treatment
II) National Health Screening Initiative (NHSI)
III) PeKa B40 Health Screening
IV) Pre-Employment/Education Medical Check-up
V) Pre-Marital Screening
VI) Quit Smoking Service
VII) Family Planning Services
VIII) Procedure (wound care, catheter replacement, etc)
The Appointments function can be used by MySejahtera users aged 18 Years Old and above and their respective dependents who wish to acquire health services.
Clients can book the nearest health facility under Ministry of Health Malaysia depending on the services they provide.
The date and time slots available in the Appointments function depends on each health facility involved. Clients are encouraged to check and pick a suitable date and time based on their preferred health facility.
Yes. You can cancel your appointment slot at any point of time. Your slot will immediately be deleted and you can book a new appointment straight away when needed.
You will be notified by the health facility upon your appointment cancellation. An online in-app push notification will also be sent whenever your appointment is canceled.
No payment is required when using the Appointments function. However, payments or service charges at public primary healthcare facilities are based on Fees (Medical) Order 1982 and Fees (Medical) (Amendment) Order 2017.

MySejahtera users can book ONE (1) appointment slot for ONE(1) service ONLY at a time. Please click on the “Cancel” or “Reschedule” button to make a new appointment at any point of time.
No. MySejahtera users who wish to book for a COVID-19 vaccination appointment may book their appointment slots through the COVID-19 Vaccination page.
You are required to bring along your identification card MyKAD/Passport for verification purposes along with your related personal and medical documents (if applicable). Please make sure that your MySejahtera application Is updated with your latest details to ensure a smooth registration and verification process.
If you are expected to be late, you can inform the health facility in advance or cancel and reschedule your appointment. The health facility is authorized to reject clients who are late or do not comply to the appointment slot ontime. Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your appointment slot time to ensure a smooth process.
Yes. Please arrive at the nearest health facility to the required treatment/service. However, registrations without appointments due to emergencies are subjected to the evaluation / ”triage” and consideration by the health facility staff.
Yes. Please bring along your MyKad/Passport identification documents for verification and registration. After registration, your information will be recordedand saved for your use anytime later.
